Shane' (pronounced Sha-Nay) McElveen known to her clients as Nay Denise is a freelance glamour makeup artist located in New Jersey. As a young child she fell in love with makeup after watching countless shows of women applying their favorite lipsticks, mascaras and blushes on television. Years later that love grew into a passion for beauty and enhancing it for every woman (and man) who sits in her chair. She believes every woman has her own beauty that she does not try (or want) to alter, but only enhance that natural beauty that each client has.
Nay Denise is self-taught and has had the opportunity to learn from and assist Celebrity Makeup Artist Theresa Francine on a number of shoots/sets and classes. She also has had the opportunity to work for brands like Lancome, Clinique, Chanel and Estee Lauder.
Nay is a strong advocate that true beauty lives in each and every individual. To her, makeup just enhances beauty and should never be used to mask the beauty that a person was born with. With her knowledge of makeup, cosmetic brands, marketing and the beauty industry, she hopes to contribute as much as she can and instill in the minds of others that confidence and true beauty is soul-deep.

Makeup by Nay Denise was created from Nay's love of the art of expression. It's much more than a nice eye shadow or a favorite lip gloss. Makeup is an avenue for self expression and its possibilities are endless. Just as an artist's paintings are dear to him or her, so are her many clients and their finished looks after a beauty session.
We are all striving for perfection; quality of being free or as free as possible from all flaws or defects. Although no human can be “perfect” the drive of perfection is inspiring. Perfection can be whatever you want it to be.
